I am a poet, singer, songwriter, painter,  planner, creator, wife, and mother. 

I love nature and capturing it with photography. 

Dogs are life and I can't imagine living without one... or three.

I believe that ANYTHING is possible in the great expanse of our universe

 and the even greater expanse of ourselves.

And I'm finally ready to take up space.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

While I have always enjoyed creating art in various forms, living in Denton for the past five years has inspired me to explore my own identity as an artist and, in the beginning of 2023, I found a passion for making miniatures. 

As a mixed media shadow box artist and diorama creator, I am inspired to create tiny rooms and spaces on a three dimensional, miniature scale. Because I believe in the preservation of our planet, I aim to use upcycled items that I find at Thrift and Antique Stores in each of my pieces. I love giving used items a new life, but I also implement every scene with handmade items using a variety of artistic techniques and mediums. I find that making realistic-looking dioramas is a fun, challenging and imaginative way for me to express my artistic abilities through many different means such as sculpting, painting, building, drawing, printing, and repurposing items.
